About Rocky Road Farm

We're a work in progress.

Rocky Road Farm was started on an empty 40 acre hay field. We built the facility in the summer of 2007, but as with all farms, the work is never done. Our current amenities include:

  • 36′ x 88′ barn with six 12′ x 12′ stalls
  • 60′ x 102′ indoor
  • 8 acre pasture with run-in shed
  • 100′ x 200′ paddock with run-in shed
  • 80′ x 200′ paddock with run-in shed

Rocky Road Farm was named after my first KWPN-NA gelding, Rocky Road. I raised him from a weanling and sold him when he was starting some second level work to help pay for the farm.

In 2014, we shifted our focus from regular-sized warmbloods to warmblood dressage horses and German Riding Ponies in the 14.2 – 15.3 hand range. If you are searching for an amateur-friendly, smaller dressage horse, we invite you to look at our current sales list.
